How Google+ is better platform than Facebook:
Facebook
has over 750 million estimated unique monthly visitors, wheras Google+ receives
only 65 million. Considering the number of unique visitors the google+ appears
to be small. But from the markter’s point of view the size of the platform
doesn’t matter much, what matter’s is
the potential target audience reach. It’s being wisely said that it’s better to
be a big player in the samller marke then to be small player trying to survive
in the bigger market.
Google+
allows it users to sign up for google authorship which enables the content
writer or the marketer to get better visibility in the search engine. Faceboook
doesn’t have any such feature to increase the search optimization.
On
Google+ you don’t need to pay money for reaching your target audience as it is
done on facebook through promoted posts , as all the people who have added you
or your brand in the circle are about to see the posts .
On
facebook people add all their school mates, class mates & old friends,
whereas on google + people meet new people with shared passion or interest
which creates a viscious circle of like minded people. For, Ex on facebook if
some wants to check about the page for offers or the products it,s being asked
to friend for recommendations.But on Google + we can ask whatever we want in
the circle of same like minded people.
Posts
on google+ gets higher visibility for its content as it comes from the search
engine giant itself “Google” it is about to support it’s own network. It’s also
been observed that pictures or photos shared on Google+ get more visibility on
google, compared to content material shared on facebook .
Google+
has good community building system through the circles feature where we meet
new people with shared passion we interact with the people accordingly to the
circle we met.whereas facebook is all about hanging around the friends and
their friends without know their interests
Google+
has special photo tagging feature that allows you to tag the people as per the
facebook but whenever you tag the person (he/she) gets the notification about
that. Facebook lacks this specil feature.
On
google+ any person who ecides to walk out can fetch all its data from it’s
feature data liberation. Facebook
doesn’s seem to have given thought over that.
Facebook
initially allowed 400 characters increasing up to 63,206 characters. Google+
offers you up to 1,00,000 characters.
Thus,
Google+ appears to better platform for the marketers to a higher extent
compared to the facebook.
